The Calx Project 2004, Rome - Italy
Powered by Zillion Productions

It's official! The Guinness World Records certificates were received on March 1, 2005 at our offices in Amsterdam. The unique event known as 'The Calx Project' took place from 15 thru 17 september 2004, Rome - Italy.

In this event, composer Christian Calcatelli set a new world record by playing the piano for over 60 straight hours.

The Calx Project's concept is to merge music and technology to inform people of the problems that too many children are facing in many parts of the world. In view of this, the whole event was broadcasted 'live' on internet. Funds were entirely devolved to the humanitarian organization Plan Netherlands who takes care of children in South America.

A special thanks to all our sponsors who were willing to help us out! Acer Computers, Canon, Belkin, Bergwerf, Bestshot, Cherubini, DIfm, Fujifilm, Galleria Alberto Sordi, Merhandize, SFElectronics and all Zillion Productions team of volunteers!

We also want to thank everyone who followed the event and kept us company during these exciting hours of beautiful music!
